Day 1
Departure

Depart on overnight flight to Scotland

Day 2
Arrival

Arrive Edinburgh late afternoon and check into hotel.

This evening we will take a tour of Edinburgh where you will have a chance to walk the Royal Mile and view Edinburgh’s famous castle.

Day 3
Edinburgh

Today we will embark on a walking tour of the city. Then, we’ll walk along Princes Street, through cemeteries, making our way to The Queen’s Gallery, Palace of Holyroodhouse.

This afternoon, we will visit Edinburgh a nonprofit working on sustainable clothing making in Edinburgh.

This evening we will have dinner in a traditional Scottish pub.

Day 4
Edinburgh

In-depth excursion: University of St. Andrews: Take a guided walk through the Gaelic beauty of St. Andrews University.

Day 5
Highlands Day Trip

Today, we will travel to the highlands of Scotland to learn more about sustainable farming.

Day 6
Edinburg to London

Travel to London
Walking Tour of London visiting:

  • The Strand
  • Trafalgar Square
  • Leicester Square
  • Convent Garden
Day 7
London

Take a guided tour of London highlighting:

  • Big Ben
  • House of Parliament
  • Piccadilly Circus
  • St. Paul’s Cathedral
  • Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (schedule permitting)
  • Tower of London guided tour
Day 8
London

Visit Food and Forest, a social enterprise funding agroforestry.

This afternoon, we will visit a local school, to learn more about the efforts towards the goal of becoming sustainable by 2023.

Enjoy a fish and chips dinner in London.

Day 9
London to Dublin

Fly to Dublin

Walking tour of Dublin highlighting:

  • Grafton Street
  • Temple Bar District

This afternoon, we will visit a sustainable winery using local berries (not grapes), Wicklow Way Wines.

Enjoy a traditional Guinness stew dinner this evening.

Day 10
Dublin

Guided tour of Dublin highlighting:

  • Dublin’s five iconic Georgian squares
  • O’Connell Street
  • St. Stephen’s Green
  • Phoenix Park and the presidential residence
  • The Book of Kells at Trinity College
  • St. Patrick’s Cathedral

Guinness Storehouse in-depth excursion: Located in the heart of the St. James’s Gate Brewery, the Guinness Storehouse explains the history of the famous beer through various interactive experiences that fuse the company’s brewing heritage along with Irelands rich history. At the Perfect Pint bar, you will learn how to pour your own Guinness. Then, you will be able to enjoy your pint as well as fantastic views at the rooftop Gravity Bar.
