Itinerary
Day 1
Depart for Ireland

Today we will depart the United States on our overnight flight to Ireland.

Day 2
Arrival to Dublin

Once you arrive in Dublin you will be greeted by your Stone & Compass representative who will be with you on your journey. We will head to the hotel and store our luggage before taking a walking tour of the city, learning about the history of this great country and city. Later in the day we will visit Dublin Castle, a former motte-and-bailey castle it is the current Irish government complex and is positioned on the highest point of central Dublin before heading to the hotel to relax.

Day 3
Dublin

Today after breakfast we will start our day by visiting Kilmainham jail, home to many famous Irish prisoners over the years. Later in the day we will visit one of the must visit locations of Dublin, The Guinness Storehouse. Here we will find out how this drink is made while also enjoying a sample of it from the rooftop with views over the city.

Day 4
Hiking

Today will be a day dedicated to hiking, we will depart from Dublin and head to Glendalough where you will be able to hike the Irish mountains and countryside.

Day 5
Travel To Skye

Today we will take a flight from Dublin to Edinburgh. When we arrive, we will start our journey to the Isle of Skye. Stopping along the way we will visit the magnificent Stirling Castle. The castle is one of the largest and most important castles in Scotland, both historically and architecturally. The castle sits atop Castle Hill, It is surrounded on three sides by steep cliffs, giving it a strong defensive position. We will carry on our journey passing through the picturesque Glencoe and heading to our next destination.

Day 6
Fairy Pools and Hiking

Today to start our day we will head out and hike to a beautiful part of the Isle of Skye, The Old Man of Storr. After hiking the Storr we will travel a short distance to admire Kilt rock while we are in the area. Later in the day we will visit the Fairy pools, and for those brave enough take a dip and enjoy the feeling of the fresh water this is the time.

Day 7
Travel To the Highlands

Today we will travel to the scenic highlands of Scotland and the city of Inverness. Once we arrive in Inverness we will have some time to explore the city centers shops and bars before dinner.

Day 8
Loch Ness

Our day will start with a cruise on the famous Loch Ness, home of the mythical Loch Ness Monster. The Loch is the deepest in Scotland and is surrounded by steep banks of trees which makes for a spectacular location. In the afternoon we will visit Culloden battlefield the site of the last battle between England and Scotland.

Day 9
Travel To Edinburgh

Today we will travel to Edinburgh, on the way we will stop at Scone Palace, the former site of where Scottish kings were crowned. When we arrive, we will drop our belongings off at the hotel and head out to explore. We will start our tour of the capital by exploring the famous Royal Mile, steeped in history and full of tales from the characters of old Edinburgh, the Royal Mile is the perfect introduction to the city.

Day 10
Edinburgh

After breakfast today we will visit one of the most famous landmarks in Scotland, Edinburgh Castle. Sitting at the top of the Royal Mile the castle sits atop Castle Rock and overlooks the city. Later we will head to the other end of the Royal Mile and visit Holyrood Palace. The palace is the official residence of the monarchy in Scotland.

Day 11
Whiskey Tasting

Today to finish off our trip we will take part in a whiskey and food tasting session. Here you will try various whiskeys form the different areas of Scotland paired together with traditional Scottish foods to see and taste how they complement each other.

Day 12
Departure

Today we will depart back to the United States.
