This day marks the beginning of a 3 day adventure. On this first day of three, Keith takes us on a Cultural Adventure through Baja, Mexico. Baja, Graced with tantalizing desert landscapes, lush oases and rich marine life. While also learning about Its human history which is no less enticing, with a legacy of remote cave paintings and crumbling Spanish missions.
Today, we take a 6 hour swim tour in the sea of Cortez, also known as the aquarium of the world. From the Marina of the city of La Paz, our exploration will begin to swim with the largest fish in the world! The Whale Shark
Today, we take a flight to Mexico City. Once we arrive, we get settled into our hotel and later in the evening a surprise awaits you, The ‘Night Tacos and Mezcal Crawl’ tour. This tour is led by Ricardo, a local who also owns several food and drink business in the city and knows his way around both.
Today we visit Teotihuacan and learn about its history. Its an ancient Mesoamerican city known for architecturally significant pyramids built in the Pre-Columbian Americas. Oozing architectural brilliance, pyramids represent a different era all together. Most of these famous pyramids in Mexico were built around 900 B.C.E to 1000 C.E, and they are a testament to the cultural importance of Mexico.
Today, we get picked up from our hotel to go on the much coveted tour of 2 of the best Monarch Butterly Sanctuaries. The tour is almost the whole day so prepare well.
Today, we have a host of activities planned and most important one is to Rejuvenate. We can explore the natural caverns and underground steam tunnels, swim in the beautiful waters of the turquoise river, most importantly relax in the myriad cliffside pools.
