We will spend the rest of the day exploring important sites in Auckland, including the, Harbour Bridge and Auckland Domain.

We will start our day visiting the Sky Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere.
We will spend our afternoon today, on a 3-hour food walking tour of Auckland. You’ll stroll past city architecture while nibbling on sweet treats along the way. We will visit local producers of artisan wine, beer, ice cream and other world-class offerings from Auckland’s finest food purveyors.

Today we take a day trip to visit Goat Island Marine Reserve, about an hour’s drive from Auckland. Once here we will have the opportunity to explore the marine reserve’s colorful coral reefs, fish, and other sea creatures.

Today we will take a day trip to the Hobbiton Movie Set in Matamata. Here we will explore the famous film set on a guided tour, hear behind-thescenes stories about the making of the movies, and see the Hobbit Holes, The Mill, and the Double Arched bridge.
Lunch – We will have a traditional Kiwi lunch
Afterward, we will visit the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. We will go by boat into the caves and marvel at the thousands of magical glowworms.
Overnight Auckland
This morning, we will head to KareKare Falls. Once here, we will take a short hike to the waterfall. Where we will enjoy swimming in the refreshing natural pool beneath the falls and relax in the beautiful surrounding scenery.
This evening, we will take a lovely cruise around Auckland Harbor. We will have a an opportunity to enjoy stunning views of the city’s skyline while partaking in a delicious dinner.
Overnight Auckland
Today we travel to Rotorua (2.5hrs), famous for its geothermal wonders and Maori culture. We will visit Te Puia, a geothermal reserve where we will witness bubbling mud pools and steaming geysers. While here we will also have an opportunity to view a Maori cultural performance and see Maori arts and crafts.

Today we explore Christchurch starting with the Canterbury Museum. The museum features a range of exhibits that tell the story of Canterbury’s history, culture, and natural environment.
Later, we will visit the Cardboard Cathedral, which is a unique and stunning building that was built as a temporary replacement for the original cathedral that was damaged in the 2011 earthquake. The cathedral is made of cardboard tubes and features beautiful stained-glass windows.
Afterward we will visit The Tannery, a unique shopping destination that features a range of boutique shops, galleries, and cafes. The Tannery is located in Woolston, a short drive from the city center, and features a range of artisanal goods, including clothing, jewelry, and homeware.
Overnight Christchurch
Today we will head into the Waipara Valley for a deicious day of wine tasting!
We will arive at Pegasus Bay Winery to begin our tasting experience. Pegasus Bay is a family-owned winery that specializes in producing premium coolclimate wines, including Chardonnay, Riesling, and Pinot Noir. We will then continue on to Black Estate for a tasting and lunch. Black Estate is a winery and restaurant that is known for its organic and biodynamic farming practices and stunning views of the Waipara Valley. Next, we will visit Waipara Springs Winery for another tasting. Waipara Springs is one of the oldest wineries in the region and produces a wide variety of wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir.
Tonight, we will have a Farewell Dinner at one of the city’s many, unique restaurants.
Overnight Christchurch
Depart on return flight from Christchurch back to the United States.
