Today we will head to the airport to take our overnight flight to Scotland.
Once you arrive in Edinburgh you will be greeted by a member of the Stone & Compass team who will be with you on your travels around Scotland. We will store our luggage at our hotel before heading to Edinburgh where we will visit the centerpiece of the city, Edinburgh Castle. We will also take a walk down the historic Royal Mile before enjoying a welcome dinner at a local Scottish Inn.
Today after breakfast we will start our golfing adventure at the Castle Course. Set on a rugged cliff-top with spectacular views over St Andrews, The Castle Course offers a memorable golfing experience.
After breakfast we will venture back to St Andrews today to take on one of the spectacular St. Andrew’s courses for a world-class golfing experience.
Today we depart from Edinburgh and start our travels north for a round at the Carnoustie Burnside Course. The Burnside has previously been used as a qualifying venue for the open. It is a genuine links course that is both testing and fun to play.
After breakfast we will travel further north to Cruden Bay Golf Course. Cruden Bay is an inspirational golf course, regarded by some as quirky and considered a masterpiece by others. Either way this is a thrilling place to play golf. Later in the day we will enjoy an evening meal in a small village local Inn.
This morning we will visit the last of the courses on our tour Murcar Links Golf Club. This course has hosted a number of events in the past including a European challenge tour event and pre-qualifying for the senior British Open as well as a match play tournament which is part of the race to Dubai.
Today we will travel to Inverness, Scotland’s most Northerly City. Here we can take a little time to explore the city and do a little souvenir shopping in the streets of this Highland city before heading to a traditional scottish pub for dinner.
Today we will start the day by visiting one of the most iconic locations in Scotland, Loch Ness. No visit to the north of the country is complete without visiting the Loch that is said to hold the mythical Nessie. We will then travel to the picturesque village of Pitlochry where we will be staying overnight.
For our final day we will travel back to Edinburgh for some last minute shopping and a farewell meal before you spend your evening enjoying most of the most spectacular events on the Scottish calendar, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Unfortunately our golfing adventure has come to an end. We hope you have enjoyed your time with us and take many memories home with you and we will see you once again on another trip.
